Renting a car at both St Martin airports
The island has two airports, and we serve both. Depending on your flight, we arrange the hand-over at your arrival airport.
Princess Juliana Airport (SXM), Sint Maarten
Princess Juliana International Airport (code SXM), on the Dutch side of the island (St Maarten / Sint Maarten), handles most long-haul and international flights to St Martin. For an arrival at SXM, we arrange car rental at Princess Juliana airport: your vehicle is waiting, and you drive straight to your accommodation, on the French or Dutch side.
Grand Case-Espérance Airport (SFG), French side
Grand Case-Espérance Airport (code SFG), on the French side, mainly serves regional routes: Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy and other Caribbean islands. Our office is right nearby, in the Grand-Case artisanal park. It is the most direct option if you arrive on an inter-island flight: quick pick-up and a short drive to Grand-Case and its beach.
How airport pick-up works
The process is simple and built to save you time as soon as you land:
- You book online or by phone, giving your arrival airport, flight number and time.
- We prepare the vehicle and track your flight — any delay is taken into account.
- You collect the keys on arrival, at the agreed meeting point, after a quick vehicle check.
- You return the car to the same airport, to our office, or to your accommodation, whichever suits you.
Make sure to give your arrival time and place when booking — that is what lets us have the vehicle ready in the right place at the right time.
Which vehicle to choose for your arrival
The right vehicle depends on your plans on the island:
- City car or small category — economical, easy to park in Grand-Case or Marigot, ideal for a couple.
- SUV or crossover — comfortable on the island's hilly roads, a good fit for a family.
- 4x4 such as the Jeep Wrangler — easy access to beaches and tracks, very popular for holiday stays.
- 7- to 9-seater — for larger families and groups arriving together, luggage included.

Book ahead, especially in high season
In St Martin, the tourist high season runs from December to April. During this period, vehicles go fast and arrivals follow one another at both airports.
